Arunachal Pradesh

1 - Land of Dawn-Lit Mountains.
2 - Originally known NEFA(North East Frontier Agency).
3 - It was a Union Territory from January 20, 1972 to February 19, 1987.
4 - It was declared a state on February 20, 1987.
5 - India's largest Buddist monastery at Tawang.
6 - Separated from Asaam.
7 - In 1913-14, the British administrator, Sir Henry McMohan, drew up the 550-mile McMohan Line as the border between British India and Tibet during the Simla Conference, as Britain sought to advance its line of control and establish buffer zones around its colony in South Asia.
